Tech Job Offer

I just wanted to throw this out here if anyone here on Anand is looking for tech employment.

We're looking for individuals with strong technical background supporting Windows application software and settings.

Capable of keeping up with a dynamic work environment, and have great attention to detail. After training on-site with us, you'll provide telephone & email based technical support to our customers from home - a great opportunity for those looking to telecommute. This position requires a land line phone, high speed internet and computer with two monitors.

This is a full time independent contractor position starting at 12.00 an hour. Special situations may arise that will require you to work outside your normal schedule. Please, no "clock watchers"!

If you feel like you've got solid experience supporting desktop applications, Internet connectivity issues, antivirus & firewall application configuration for custom apps, and Internet Explorer functionality in general, please send us your resume today! If you have the "geek gene" but not a very lengthy resume, don't worry, because we're looking for hard working folks that can solve any problems thrown at them just as much as we're looking for people with extensive history on their resume.

Our company is a fast-paced, close-knit, vision-driven family. If you're interested, don't wait, because we'd like to begin interviewing immediately. Also, included references are always helpful.

Thanks,
Justin

That's the target area, but we can arrange anyone in the continental US to train and work, even if it takes flying said individual in to train with the group. Problem I've personally found is that the market is over-saturated and many tech folks are in need of better employment.

Working from home after training has significant benefits 🙂

Yikes.

After taxes, it's below minimum wage. Most likely you will not even get benefits.

Full time contractor makes anywhere from $50-150/hour.

Whatever the market will bear...

Yeah, in addition, that 12.00 hour is just initial pay. Based on job performance and experience, the hourly wage does increase. Plenty of promotion opportunities, too.

At any rate, just wanted to toss all this out here for interest!

Based on the number of buzz-words in that listing, that job is worth more than $12 an hour.
