Yeah, let's not gather facts first on ANYTHING and just jump straight to conclusions in life.

It couldn't possibly be wrong or have any repercussions that makes you question how fucking dumb our media is.

Cough Jesse Smuglette Cough
Cough Covington Kids Cough
I am the first to question the social media mob and rush to judgment, but I can’t imagine any context that makes what he said defensible.

I'm saying it because it's generally good practice to not be frothing morons who instantly believe one-side of a story without considering the other side.

Take a look at the post I quoted and ask yourself the reverse question.
You are angry man, you should do yourself a favor an find out why that it is... and no its not cause libtards, thats just your excuse.

I saw the story on TV last night. It's hard for me to imagine what triggered him. Drugs? That's the only thing that comes to mind, he was in some strange crazy state of mind. Just wow. What in the world was he thinking?

Sounds like they were being loud celebrating a birthday and it pissed him off. What can you imagine would justify him saying what he said? Why did the staff side with the people he was berating instead of him?

Oh wait, here's another fact:

He apologized, without qualification. If there was added context that somehow made what he said understandable, kind of seems like he might have mentioned it.
At least he did apologize. It's more than almost anyone else guilty of overt racism does. Why it happened I have no idea. That doesn't excuse it, and his apology doesn't excuse it, but at least he appears to have made a reasonable apology.

The Ambien made him do it.

I’ll admit I’ve never messed with Ambien, but I’ve been under stronger sedatives a few times, and thrown back my share beer/liquor over the years and definitely said some dumb shit. But never went on a racist rant.

We’re not seeing one side of the story, we’re seeing a video

Because, short of some neurological/mental issue that makes you prone to blurt out offensive things, there really isn’t any.

Head injury/brain tumor/stroke damage causing impulse control loss/personality changes, or a neurological condition like Tourette Syndrome, would be about the only thing I’d give him a pass on.
But, I’d bet 100 to 1 against it being any of those. Even on drugs/alcohol, it doesn’t suddenly make your a racist if you weren’t. It just tends to let it out, in my experience. (20 years+ career FD/EMS puts you in contact with a lot of impaired folks)

It's hard for me to imagine people hating Asians. There are a lot where I live, although it seems that no ethnicity enjoys a preponderance. A lot of people have bugged me from time to time but I've never gone off on anybody by virtue of my conceiving them as representing a class of people I despise! I think we all carry some racist baggage, but it's a mistake to think for a minute that any ethnicity is just plain awful. It's absolutely not true. I can think of one Asian I've known in my life that I had an issue with, just one. That's Mr. Chock, my Chinese high school physics teacher. I didn't hate him, no, but he embarrassed me in class a time or too by intention (I also was his best student!). :) It was strange.

I will say one thing in this guy's defense. He is the CEO of his company. He's the boss. As such he isn't a peer in his sphere, he's the guy, he's the one guy who has more power, probably way more power, maybe is the only real power in his sphere. The saying is "power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely." Too much power is a big challenge. I personally do not like to have power over others, I'm quite the opposite. I actually fear being in positions of power. I don't want to be able to compel others. Yes, I am in situations where my decisions affect what other people do, but I don't want to be a threat to others and try to avoid situations where I might be seen as having such power. I've never been anybody's boss, for instance. I've never held any kind of management position... none. This guy is the opposite of me. I can see where he got in a mood where he had some suppressed anxiety, some repressed anger and he just snapped and let it out... not at individuals over whom he has power (i.e. his staff, or whomever) but on the contrary, he expressed repressed anger at people over whom he had no actual power, people who shared a restaurant space with him. I think this makes sense. He, as CEO, likely in some degree lives a life of emotional isolation because of his position of superior power. I do not envy that.

He's very likely quite upset with himself. He should probably have some emotional support, see a good psychologist. He's a prime candidate.

You know what they say, "it's lonely at the top."

Does that make you feel better sugar tits? My posts were a direct response to other posts - not the story of the OP.

I know, I know, it's hard for you to keep up with current topics of conversations - it can get VERY confusing with changing subjects.

You always go out of your way to cover for your fellow RWNJs. It's time people start calling you out for your shit.

You do realize your constant SJW virtue signaling accomplishes nothing in life right?

As I said, I wasn't responding to the OP - and nor do I feel it necessary to actively and vocally condemn every single person when they are clearly being an asshat.... Mostly because it does nothing and everyone already agrees.

Hopefully someday you folks will realize that your virtue signals accomplish nothing.

Your first post in this thread was a giant whataboutism in defense of this racist asshole. You can cry all you want about virtue signaling, but when you're going out of your way to defend racists, that tells me all I need to know about you.

Maybe if you'd stay on-topic instead of smearing shit throughout the thread in an attempt to introduce your defense of racist garbage, then obfuscate your defense of racist garbage, people wouldn't call you out on it.

I've never seen someone with so many self-inflicted wounds crying about people pointing it out.

And you're doing a strawman that I was "in defense of this racist asshole". I didn't. No where in my post did I defend the guy in the OP.

I quoted a post in this thread that was making an asshat into a partisan issue and elaborating how doing that hasn't served you well in the past.

It's weird that you think all stories--all stories--must absolutely have more than one side.

that's weird.

Your first post in the thread about a racist being caught on video doing racist things is to try and muddy the waters by blaming the media. I don't know how else to take your post other than a defense of the asshole in the video.

that's weird.

Any lawyer will tell you there are 3 sides to any story.

The defendant's story.
The prosecutor's story.
The truth - which is somewhere in the middle of the 2 above.

I'm sorry you lack the brain-power to disconnect from the story in the OP and stop constructing your own strawmen?
