going back to have tech put hd and ssd on native controllers
read post where guy said clear cmos
is that correct before native ports used:wub:

Hmm.. not sure what the rationale for clearing CMOS would be - should be able to do an autodetect of the drives to clear anything out?

Z87 controllers are definitely a better idea. On my mobo, ASRock Extreme6 ,they are in the middle of the row of connector pairs.
