And doh stop killing returning guest stars.

And such a devious plan by the big baddie.

And finally what’s behind the red door

I was thinking "Where's Seven? She might have some valuable input here instead of reinventing the wheel."

WOW is all that can be said about this finale. And while Picard is over. Discovery will be following. The future of Star Trek is still bright.

You gonna love the ending, you remember that Borg lady from last season? You're in for a treat. I am not saying she saves the day, but...
No, different Borg lady. Sadly Annie Wersching passed away earlier this year of cancer. The original queen Alice Krige reprises her role from First Contact. Well voice, it’s a body double filling in the acting part.

WoW you can really tell how much Patrick Stewart has aged though the years.
Even from season one to season three, it seems like he's aged.

I was really suprised they never brought in Janeway for last season, as it was borg related, and i believe no one has more detailed information on the borg collective.

Also Jack reminds me of another Tom Paris.
Infact they both Jack and Tom have Admiral Daddys.

Spoiler Below:
Dayam Q is by far one of the best characters in this franchise.

When they were writing, they originally intended to have Janeway for that last scene with Seven. Also they wanted poor no longer ensign Harry Kim as a captain.

Yeah can anybody clear that up maybe? What happened there to make this one borg cube the last one in existence?
(Which was why she needed jack and the shriek and the changelings)
Was it jayneway blowing up the borg hub in the last episode of voyager? Oh, spoiler!
And why would that blow up all of the borg everywhere?
Where the heck was agnes-queen? She couldn't be bothered to help out?!
But then this queen is the one that created lucutus? So that was earlier than the voyager finale right?
Is this supposed to be the cube that Picard blows up at the end of best of both worlds? What, didn't the enterprise stay around for long enough after that to see if it really blew up or not?! Did they just go :Eh, it's gonna be allright...?

Ok slightly behind but holy hell I didn't know the 1701-D was the nostalgia I wanted. I knew they would take their 'usual' spots and I loved every damn second of it

They were suposed to show off the Enterprise - F.
Or at least all the hype was that they were suposed to show off the F.
Err, that was so disappointing.
That has to be the most ugliest Enterprise ever.
I was hoping they would pull something cooler then the Enterprise - J.
Nope... the Concept of the J still wins after god knows how many years.

I am not that too big of a fan of the Neo Constitution class.
I did not like any ships Picard, outside probably the Romulan Bird of Prey in season 1.
Season 3 Shrek, looked too much like the Reman Scimitar.
Infact they made almost the same face (were screwed face) when they read the armaments for both ship, in both the movie and the TV show

So in all, i think Picard was not that great after 3 seasons.
It also leaves a lot of missing plot holes, like now WTF Picard now has to balance Crusher + Gary in some form of twisted love triangle.
Lets not even get into the fact we have 2 sets of Uni - matrix 0 Borg, running around in this timeline.
How did Agnes hide herself from the Original Queen, or is the whole there are many many queens, and they keep out of each others way theory apply with borg.
Also Seven is a walking Borg Queen Bomb, at any moment she can go "All Hail her Magisty".

FML..

Yeah Picard is/was a shit storm, which to me felt the writers were a bit too desperate to hold onto the whole star trek franchise.

Also WTF happened to Will Crusher?
I know he turned into some Transcended being.
But you'd think if his mother, and half brother were in trouble, he could at the very least warp them out.
The whole lets give Picard a child and bring back Crusher card was a horrible card to be played.

In online games the G is a hero ship and the most powerful ship in the fleet able to handle an entire armada by itself so seeing the Titan rechristened as the G was a disappointment.

Bah i take the game with a grain of HEAVY SALT.
I used to play the game a lot, and my main ship was a engineering healing boat odyssey.

The Odyssey leaves a LOT to be left on the table, because its VERY hard to balance shit and make things canon, when you can't balance shit, and you have the addition of extra shit like Plot Armor, and Plot Pew Pew cannons.

If we do follow things which are canon, Discovery showed off what the - J time line ships were.
There is too much left missing in between Discovery future, and picard present, even after a near galactic resetting event like the great dilithium exodus.

What we need now is Star Trek with 7 at the helm then give us the adventures of Jack.

I feel like we'll very likely get it too! :)

Finished Picard last night myself and IMO season 3 was the BEST Trek I've seen in many years! (I caught myself clapping and cheering several times)

I may need to re-visit Next Generation. :)

No "spoilers" but I was a little disappointed by the surprise cameo in that final scene with Jack .... nothing wrong with an ORIGINAL plot-line guys! (lol)

You know what else got me wondering.
What happened to all the NCC Zheng He's in season 1?
Starfleets baddest, toughest, ships... err paid for by China so they could get broadcast rights.

No but seriously... i think the fleet of Zheng He's in season 1 that held off the Romulan Fleet, could EASILY take down that you know what at the end of season 3.
But we never see it again, or another Zheng He for that matter ever again.

I'm going to try to (mostly) forget about season 1 and 2 of Picard and be just happy that some actual "sci-fi" folks are getting more heavily involved in the writing again.

:D

One more season of Star Trek chock full to overflowing with tear-jerking "feels" and I might have bailed out on Trek forever. (I'm not into politically correct chick-flicks that happen to include space-ships and ray-guns)

I liked the first two seasons of Picard ok. If I like the core characters, I can overlook iffy stories. I tend to mentally airbrush out the defects and make the story I want, but that only works if I already like the players. That said, s03 was *actually* good. It didn't require much airbrushing, and I'd be more than happy seeing more of the same.

Discovery wasn't even Star Trek. It was just some show with a Star Trek sticker put on top. My cat is as Trekky as Discovery.

As I've said previously I like Discovery a lot better than you did (not saying much lol!) BUT I would have preferred they stuck with the "darker" first couple seasons to the "frenzy of feels" in future-space we ended up with. (I thought Lorca was terrific!)

Having said that I'm really looking forward to seeing Tilly again, hopefully in her own series!

;)

Well, I think you might be getting it. They're doing a Star Fleet Academy series set in the 32nd(?) century, and that's where Tilly is. I'm not super fond of Tilly, but I'll give the show a shot. That show could be really terrible in a number of ways, but it might be good. Only one way to find out...
