I'm sold on the trailer but still don't really get what the story's about after reading some synopses.
It's put me in the mood to watch the original again myself really. The original was more or less a theme park with three different areas immersive like a Sandals on steroids, then the androids go ballistic and you have a malfunctioning Yul Brynner killing people.
It was pretty much Jurrasic Park theme park, meets the Terminator, meets Game of Thrones bebauchery, way before any of those existed.
Probably one of the reasons Fantasy Island was so popular in the 70's when it came out a few years later, it was sort of Westworld Lite for TV.

HBO does not usually do remakes, I usually am not a big fan of them myself, but I'm going to be watching this one. Especially being a series, is a lot of room to run with that one.
