line is currently at +2 with a 57.5 spread

6 point tease pays -110

500 wins 454

I'm having a hard time thinking this won't hit.

Can someone translate what's going on in this thread to English for those of us who don't have a gambling problem?

this means that the Patriots can WIN or LOSE by 8 or less points to cover that portion of the bet

combined with the total score of the game (both teams) will be less that 64 points

It's not guaranteed. But it's a good bet, real good. Only concern would be the under with both teams 1 and 2 ranked offenses.

It's only a problem if you lose more than you win. ;)

I agree with spidey and HopJokey.

another concern:

since 1980, there have only been 5 NFL spreads above 57 points, and all 5 hit for the over ! D:D:

Oompf. Nice bit of info. I still think it's a good bet.

Anytime I could make money off pats losing is like double happiness.

the other potential would be to go the other way and tease Pats +8 and OVER 51.5 but that doesn't seem as juicy

I'd take the points but I'm thinking it's going to be over 64. I can't see either team's defense slowing down the other's offense. Especially, since we're indoors on turf.

with a O/U like that all it takes is a couple FGs, a couple 9-12 play drive or a a low scoring first quarter to blow an over out of the water.

Each team has to score 4 TDs and then some?

I'd bet the under and that +8 is tasty, indeed.
