Teamspeak 2 vs Teamspeak 3

i know what the info says w/ ts2 and 3, but in reality, is there really that much of a lag difference between ts2 and 3? sound quality is fine in ts2, if it is better in ts3 great, but the main issue is lag w/ ts2. does ts3 make the lag less?

Everything about TS3 is better than TS2. Our clan just switched and both the sound quality and lag issues are drastically improved.

No reason ever to use TS2 ever again.

Agree. TS2 sucked arse and we switched to vent. But with TS3, we switched back.

We actually found TS2 > TS3 cause we couldn't figure how to set up TS3.

mumble is better than TS and vent

Tried Mumble, was excited about the in-game positional voice capability, but couldn't talk my buddies into switching to it when the client was using up 4% CPU cycles just sitting there without anyone even talking - and that was on an E6600 C2D OCed to 3.0GHz.

So we're on TS3 and it's working well.

Mumble has it's perks but it's just not worth it. TS2 is complete garbage, other than some unique administration features. I'd like to give 3 a try, but vent suits my minimal needs just fine.
