Did anyone notice a change?
There used to be a working page that shows stats and see the hosts/number of blocks submitted from a certain IP or hostname, however since like 3 months ago, these stats have not made any sense. Infact most hostnames are coming from "edge", "iodbbs", "dsl-*.*..", "205.", "199,199..." and they seem like proxies instead of the hostname coming from the original computer. I used to be able to calculate and see which computer is crunching effectively and which ones aren't(so I can tweak them), now its just a whole bunch of blocks and confusion. I don't even bother checking that page anymore.
 
Hey Dexion, sounds like you're flushing using an older name that has been turned into the round robin of pproxies we have in place to take stress off Mika's ... What I recommend in cases like this is to go here and find a pproxy operator you like, then set all your cows to flush to that and check the hosts page at "your" pproxy pages 😉

I do as Two Face has suggested, sending all my work to Jator. 😉 Actually, it's a bit better than what Mika was doing because he uses more detailed hostnames.

Yes, you will be able to still see stats on Mika's. ALl the baby bovines do is add redundency to the formula. As for your choice of stats, Brad(IODBBS) and myself are the only round robin proxies who serve stats currently (Mandrill has focused more on game stats and clueless and I have lost track of his stats). I will admit this, Brad has a better uptime record than I do. 😉

Well if people are offering I also have one avaialbe, but it is already on the list with the baby bovines.

Uptime is not that great right now but that is mostly from my playing around with my system (got to love MS and having to reboot if you even think about changing something)

I was sending you my daily logs to jay@jator.2y.net but a while back they all got bounced so I stopped sending them. I was much too busy at work and I knew you were also busy that I decided not to bother you about it. Since you mentioned about loosing track of the stats on my pproxy, please let me know if you wouldn't mind getting it going again for me. Thanks a bunch. 🙂

Sorry, this all happened when I was converting from jator.2y.net(cable, dynamic IP) to jator.net(Telocity, Static IP). Unfortunately, Telocity id down at least once a day, and I am going back to cable. After Wed, if you want to start sending me the logs again, go ahead.
