I can't help you on that, but I can ask another question!

Will my name be bob (as before) or rockyfort (as registered for this stage)? If so, why wouldn't my stats show on the individual list? Is Dyyryath's site going to show stats for stage 3?

wish you could somehow see individual stats.........we need to see who has and who has not signed up with tyhe new client.........some people may have had problems, and are not sure if there producing

I'm running cbpncli.exe as a service, so cbagent is not running.

I registered and have the correct ID number in the registry.

I guess I'll have to post on chessbrain.net and find out what's going on.
 
Well i'm telling all my friends about ChessBrain and the record attempt, so we should get a few new team mates 🙂
 
theanimal, when did you start the new client crunching? Did you run the cli for a while before making it a service to make sure everything was ok? what version are you running? what is your userid?

winr, you're missing a 'h' in the title 😉
 
I started it on Saturday morning, but made it a service right away. I ran 30124-01 over the weekend and switched to the 26-02 last night. My userid is 192.
 
the raw stats don't show any work for UID 192. I thought maybe there was a parsing thing, since you have a space in your name, however that doesn't appear to be the case.

Definetly try getting rid of the service, and running the cli, so you can see the output. Also, try using a peernode monitor.
 
There's been no work for the past couple of days due to this.

I'm gonna have to wait til tomorrow at least to troubleshoot my installations, to make sure they're OK and are working!

I have CB Agent running. When I right click on the icon tray, and I click on Hde/show peer nodes, I get the file that says "ChessBrain PeerNode Client." (I had unistalled version 2 of the peer node client, so I checked with

I registered anew, as requested when I d/led the Agent.

I have registered my home machine, my laptop and my work machine to my e-mail address, and before things went idle for the move, was able to see a lot of activity in the hash files on the Peer Node client. (And not just "too slow. job aborted!")

The original instructions talked about the Peer Node CLient running minimized in the systray (Win 98 home and laptop/2000 Work) and when I asked about it, since it wasn't showing anything in the systray, the question appeared to be a non-sequiter (Carlos wondered if I could run it minimized. I was worried that it didn't show up in the systray when I minimized.) Since that time, I believe, information about the peernode client in the systray has been changed.
