Is it just my stats that haven't been updated in days or has it happened to anyone else. Peernode network monitor is showing work being accepted and checking stats by clicking on "view my stats" takes me to my stats, but mine haven't changed in days.

the client occasionally gets stuck, have you rebooted the boxen in question lately?

I've rebooted it. More than that is that I can see it doing work by viewing the peernode monitor.

If you are seeing reports on PeerMonitor but your stats aren't updating, I would guess you are sending your work to a place other than where you are intending......

Check that this line is exactly right

# Set DC team name
teamname=TEAMANANDTECH

also check that this line is exactly the name you want to be using

# uid=joe_smith@temple.com
uid=AT_Insidious@comcast.net

note that only the portion of the name before the @ will be shown on the stats

Everything looks good. When I check my stats by right clicking on the icon in the taskbar is takes me to my stats. They just don't update. Guess I'll keep running it for a couple more days and see if it updates.

My client does appear do be doing some work.

looking at past reports, the last time your stats changed was 5/27. Did you change anything on that day?

Looks like my .exe file is in my start menu ->startup folder. I moved it to C:\Program Files\CBPeerNode which is where my cbspn.conf is located at. Maybe that will fix it. I must've screwed something up with that I think.

I wonder if that was mine :confused: I only did one move for the project.
Then again it may well be a different member. I am not sure if one unit would give so many results.

I'm pretty sure that if it is showing slangnrox on the pnmonitor, that is the name your stats would be registering under.


On a completly different subject, I think I found why my CB was going nutz on me everyonce in a while. I was ferking around, trying to find a way to run all of these DCs at once and when I was putting CB into the task scheduler, I happened to look at the advanced settings. There is a setting that defaults to 'stop the process if it has been running for 72 hours' OMG, what the heck is this? Anyway, I cleared that box and am now trying CB again.

If anyone could cross their fingers and make an offering to the nerdly Gods on high..... I'd appreciate it :D

Also, I will sacrifice an old trusty 100 mb. harddrive to the nerdly Gods on high in the hopes they will curcumvent Murphys law.

I know in linux, the executable must be in the same place as the conf. No idea about windows. Hopefully in a few hours we will see some activity in your stats :)
