Team Vulcan DDR4-3000 2x8GB, two kits, all work in Gigabyte B450 AORUS PRO WIFI, with older Ryzen R5 1600 CPU, at 3000 speed!

I'm overjoyed. I was never able to get these Team Vulcan DDR4-3000 sticks to work properly at 3000 speed, nevermind just setting XMP and GO.

But this new Gigabyte B450 AORUS PRO WIFI ATX board made memory-compatibility like a dream!

The board felt a little thin, but amazingly enough, it works better than my ASRock AB350M Pro4 boards, WAY better, and seemingly better still than my Gigabyte AX370-Gaming ATX board, that this one replaced, because the primary PCI-E x16 slot failed on the old board.

Edit: Not overclocking the CPU. Have a stock-speed Ryzen R5 1600 CPU, with a 65W heatsink from a Ryzen R3 1200 CPU retail box.

I'm finally making the jump this weekend.
Going from a 2600k to a R5 1600 was gonna hold off buy Microcenter had a sale so had to pick it up again.
i might be able to sell my old parts for enough to cover the upgrade
I did pick up some OEM Samsung B-Die rated at 2133 hopefully I can get that OC'd to 3000 or higher
