I figured we needed a thread for all of Team OctoberQuest to gloat about what new WU Crunchers we have assimilated. Let me get the ball rolling:

assimilated 4 p4 1.6's yesterday, with one more on the block today (right now actually)
also changed my home xp1600 from eccp to seti, and upgraded a athlon 550 running eccp to a 1600xp and changed it to seti

for you eccp fans, don't worry, i'll be replacing those numbers with other machines, i just needed a little extra oomph off the line.

I gave up on getting a NIC card to work in my old k6-2, so i just transferred wu's by cd.

So, that's a k6-2 450 to add to the list. 🙂

I'm considering switching my 1600+ from ECCp to seti, but i dunno yet.

every machine here at work that's connected to the internet has seti already on it by a co-worker. So I can't really add machines at work. 🙁 Unless I was to run seti as a service in the background. How does running multiple instances of seti on a single processor machine work(50/50 share, first one going gets it)? 😀

Oh, assimilations? Nothing permanent until October 12 AFAIK.
