I really liked the first version that came with Half Life. TF2 was supposed to come out 2 years ago though. When the F is this damn game coming out?

I gave up waiting on that one about a year ago. TFC is still my all-time favorite Half-Life mod (even though I love DOD.) Maybe it'll come out eventually. But games like Wolfenstein are really going to cut into its potential market because once a multiplayer game gets an established following people will stay with it for a long time.

is RTCW multiplayer a class-based fps like TFC was? i honestly know nothing about that game.

Actually it was originally slated for a Jan '99 release. 3 years and one month. I've also totally given up on even thinking about this or duke nukem. Duke will probably come out but I bet TF2 has been cancelled.

TF2 and Duke Nukem will run into the same problem Daikatana did. By the time they come out, they be using a previous generation graphics engine and will suck.

God I hope that TF2 isn't still based on the HL engine. Because if so, like you said, major suxoring.

Ahhh, TF2. I had either forgotten, given up hope, or just pushed it to the back of my mind.

It will NOT be on the .5 life engine, and that notion was scrapped long ago.
They will be using a new engine, and its development alone is supposed to take gaming netcode to a whole new level.

The game should be great, and it will be released.. its just too big a project. Although.. the engine doesn't even have true curves, and since it will be based on massive environments that is kind of a requirement in most games today.. Oh well, lets see what they do.

You actually hate me based upon my lack of knowledge of when this god-forgotten game is to be released :Q I heard that TF2 is being bundled with that really cool vid card (forgot name) that keeps getting pushed back
