It does. After playing for a few hours, I don't notice much of a demo nerf at all. Can still drop sentries with relative ease.

No cus no new weapons for them or spy. I see it more of something to tide people over until the next real update for a class.

Demo's weren't nerfed imo, they were just made to not spam. You can still kill sentries and such if you blow up your stickies right away.
 
The "nerf" to the demo really doesn't affect him at all. The only thing this helps with is removing sticky traps which are unattended. I played several rounds as a demo and tried sticky spamming and still found it to be just as effective as it always has been.

The spy "fix" is great. Cloak has always been his major weapon, and now he gets to actually use it for more than 8 seconds.

The engineer buildings are great for offense, but I feel they make defenses too strong. Especially now with their increased hitpoints, as a spy you have to be certain you've killed any and all engineers nearby, because there's plenty of time to remove all the sappers once a spy is killed. And now snipers can no longer one shot dispensers and teleports once they've been upgraded. This was a great way to attack a turtling engineer.
 
Got some play time in and can't wait for the annoying newness to wear off so people get back to their norms. All demo and engies :roll: any CTF map my team turtles in as engies

I've been seeing a lot of spies as well which sucks cus I'm engie 99% of the time whenever I play.

yeah, I play mostly engineer. when i see a LOT of spies around, I just switch to pyro and go crazy-go-nuts

Me too. 😀 And we're not the only ones that do that. If you're on a good server, Engy was a tough class as is. Because spies and demo/medic combos just wreck you... Usually, I'll build like 3 sentry's in a bout 5 minutes (because they keep getting wrecked) and then I'll cry like a biatch and then rage switch to Pyro.....

yeah definitely.

It will force demos to think of more creative ways to plant stickies and add more strategery to the game.

But the pyro was already a counter to them. God i hate pyros, when will they be nerfed.

Very annoying class, especially on a small map like 2Fort with quick respawn. I'd like to see the pyros burn too.....that might help stop some of the mad pyro suicide runs.
