Steam can find them, but the game dosent, i havent played it in ages and thought i would fire it up again. Ive added the exception to windows firewall, i tried it with turning off windows firewall, my pc is set to DMZ on the router too. Dunno what else to try as ive never had this problem with any other games.

Ideas?

Steam has issues with me sometimes too. I typically restart it, or the computer and it starts working again. It's really weird when one pc will work just fine and the other can't see anything, or just particular servers.

Yes, they're invincible. The medic is able to make himself plus one other invincible after healing so many health points. You can't do any damage to them until after the effect wears off, but you can break the bond between the medic and his escort by dropping a rocket near the medic's feet and sending him flying away. Then the one he was healing loses the effect.

I had Symantec End Point protection and could not find any servers on TF2 or CSS even with an exception added. As soon as I uninstalled SEP the problem was gone. Maybe it's whatever AV software you have running?

Answer: Because the TF2 server browser is terribad.

Unless I'm wrong, the server browser for TF2 is the same as for CS, and CS is totally fine. Just uncheck "Show Map List" and you'll get the oriignal server browser, which is great.

For some reason my TF2 browser (the master server list) *occasionally* breaks. I don't know what causes it, but I can access my favorites and history, but nothing comes up in the master server list. Oddly enough, if I come back after playing a game or two, the server list will start working again.
