TeAm D2OL Captaincy...

Some time ago, I was nominated the team captain and 'owner' of the TeAm D2OL account. As I am no longer running that project, it seems fitting to relinquist the mantle to a more worthy captain. I'll make whatever arrangements are required just as soon as I know who is the new captain!

Seems like the D²OL client Geoff, not much interest :(

PS:
Got my 1,000,000 molecule certificate for FAD eventually :)

Thanks for the work you have done for the Team AnandTech with D2OL Geoffs.

Did interest just slowly wane with TA in D2OL or did something happen? I haven't been watching D2OL.

Chipster22:
The TeAm still has strong support... there were 33 active participants yesterday. I just felt like it was time to try something different. The project has the same problems it did a year ago as far as communication is concerned... the client hasn't been enhanced... there still seems to be plenty of opportunity to cheat. I think it's still a worth cause, it was just time for me to move on and try something different from the bottom :)

TAandy:
I knew you would! Keep on trucking!

Same for me; I don't blame you a bit, Geoff. You've done a fine job captaining the D2OL team for as long as you have -- a fine job indeed. :)

I have to agree with networkman, you did a great job Geoffs, thanks. I notice that Bunmaster is still going strong, if he wants it he'd get my vote!

Thanks guys... I appreciate the cudos :) It's not beyond the realm of possibility that I'll return, but I would like to see some changes on the part of the managers of the project before I consider it. I'm happily crunching FaD right now... I've only had one problem with the client, and that was of my own doing which I was screwing around with it  Stats haven't been down once that I noticed, and there always seems to be work available... I understand that if there isn't work available, the client is smart enough to make some work for itself based on the jobs that have already been completed... pretty cool! :)

Still... looking for someone who wants to be the figurehead for this TeAm :)

Thanks for the stats Geoff. You have been a great Team Captain. I am ok with whoever everyone else wants to go with...

You did a great job and I am happy you are still crunching for TA. :)

No real idea on who for team captain.

Thanks again... I don't really care if the TeAm stays in my name or not, but I figured it would be good for someone that was active in the project to be the contact...

My kids ask that question too! ;)

I guess I end up being the captain by default...

Gone... captaincy remains with the man in the dark corner wearing the overcoat and rubber boots...
