Thanks Smokeball for all of your efforts! 🙂 The race between us and DSLR is actually what got me started in DC...I had never done any project before, read someone's post about the upcoming race, joined, and had a blast.

In closing I'd just like to encourage more of you reading this to consider joining Folding@Home. This is a project that I feel very strongly about because its object is to find a cure for Alzheimer's Disease, which, unfortunately, my mom has. I doubt that there will be enough accomplished from this project to help in her lifetime, but if I can in some way help someone else's loved one by crunching then that will be a very worthy investment of some electricity and spare CPU cycles.

As of right now, there are only 28 members on TeamAnandtech F@H.

I know we can do better than this, so come on, sign up for team 198 and START CRUNCHING!!!! 🙂 Thank you 🙂
 
Damn, Chuck, that's a great post. You should do like Engineer did, and do a post on each of the other forums. I bet that you'd draw them right in 😀
