Attention: Internet Explorer 6.0 Users
There is a display problem when using IE 6.0. My reports are created using MS Office XP software and, when viewing the web pages generated by MS Excel 2002 and Front Page 2002 with Internet Explorer 6.0, some rows completely disappear and other rows have their borders distorted. There is a FIX ? Wait for the pages to completely download and then hit F5 to Refresh and the reports will appear properly. Thank you, Bill Gates. 🙂

I always look at the number of members for Team Art Bell and wonder what they could do it they got organized and motivated. Perhaps some of them would like to join up with a nice TeAm that represents a certain computer hardware site. 😉

Networkman, you mentioned Team Art Bell.

When I started keeping up with their daily production and such I was intrigued by the total numbers of their membership. How did any team get that many and who in the hell is Art Bell?

Well, since then I have found out and I have to tell you that I am thoroughly engrossed finding means and ways to record his four hour nightly program so I can play it back during the day. Now some nights it is pretty boring but then there are times when it is completely captivating. I can see how people are drawn to his website and in their poking around they see mention of SETI AT HOME.

Every day like clockwork, that team gains around 4 or 5 members. It is so huge that when you do an update with SetiTEAM it can only handle the top 9,999 members. Since I cannot see the whole team, I have to rely on the CGI Stats page for their membership count. So actually, there are 2,400+ members that I cannot even see nor have knowledge. That is more than our total membership. 😱

I report the change in Total WUs as reported each day by SetiTEAM.

Obviously, the members of Team Art Bell are more interested in the Art Bell radio show, ?Coast to Coast?, than Seti@Home.
