Once again, the challenge was met. The DPC's valiantly tried to overtake us with an extra 200k dump, but we still edged them out by 116k blocks.:D For the day, we chowed down on 1,460,787 WUs, leaving the weak, struggling ./ in the dust by a whopping 826k!:D:D

But, because of OGR, our membership number has taken a big dive, people. Recruit, recruit, recruit!:)

Is there any way of guessing how long OGR will take? Have there been any word from Dnet?

I've yet to see any good figures from anybody official, but I'm guessing OGR-24 will be down in the next two weeks, since we did the first 20% in about 5 days or so ...

If OGR-25 doesn't start immediately after, the RC5 numbers should get a temporary boost during the switchover ...

I sort of hope OGR-25 doesn't start right up. Maybe D.net could use what they've learned during OGR-24 to streamline the process before starting on a larger scale OGR project.

I would imagine they'll give it at least a couple days break to have time for the OGR24 stubs to clear out of everybody's proxies and buffers ...

Another thing to consider is the size of the OGR stubs. The ones that I first got were long. After the reissue started, the size has been relatively small. When we get near the end again, it may take increasingly longer to get the work completed.

I wish Dnet would give us a clue. This would be the place for it. http://n0cgi.distributed.net/statistics/

IMHO, I wish Dnet would make the OGR and RC5 clients diff. Just so this Switchover BS doesn't happen again. Right now I can't get my clients to just crack RC5. Even after doing all the stuff that I have read. Except getting the old clients.

Maybe someone could bring this up with Dnet to get ppl cracking the right stuff.
