Well, with the problems with Mikas fixed, we''ve balenced out in the dailies, and are kicking the DPC's and /.'s butts in the process.:) For the day, we did 1,669K blocks(more than 5GK/sec), 557K more than the DPCs, and 741K more than /.:) While I don't have any interesting RC5 news tonight, I do have some webbox news. The webbox is running. It still needs Win2K Server(anyone good at beating it out of Steve?;)), and we need to install the SCSI HDs(It's using a spare 340MB HD:p), and obviously finish up the front end, but the bread(the webbox), is ready, with the butter comming shortly. But, since we'll have all that additional power, we need more machines to sap it up! So, everyone get out there and assimilate all the machines you can, because TA will thrash the /(and overload the webbox while doing so;)).:D

actually, I would hate to see the keyrate of my brain. It would probably only get ~10 kkeys/sec idle, and its hardly ever idle, so...

strates, did you know that it has been estimated that the human brain can function at around 100TFLOPS? ;) The problem is that its always active to an extent and we just plain don't know how to tap the rest of it ;).

Now that I think about it, it may be even higher than that. I remember reading a technical article on the ASIC White that said it had the computing capability of a mouse brain, and I believe it pushes around 12TFLOPS. I would appreciate it if someone could verify this info for us (I've gotta run!).

Wow:Q

Can you overclock it? Bump up the voltage and install RC5 on it! We need more crack.....

Remember, this is your brain on crack!:p

dvch,

I looked in to that, but I couldn't find small enough cerebral probes.;) The smallest they make is the one I have stuck in my cat, Seven.
