How often does WCG update stats? Its been 10hrs since the last update, so maybe 12 or 24hrs?

IIRC some tables are updated once every 24 hours - in about 45 minutes - 1 hour.
Other tables once every 12 hours.
The update process takes some 25 - 30 minutes ... expect new stats around 00:00 UTC.

Second, I am taking an unexpected vacation - my wife got 2 weeks off from her work (hoooray!) and we are off to enjoy Sweden.

Well, it is somewhat complicated.

The TeAm's official name is TeAm AnandTech. We have been renaming our teams when ever a team was misnamed. In WCG we tried to contact the team captain but he never replied. So after some time we created a TeAm AnandTech.

Why? Because the TeAm-stats are not correct if the name is not spelled the same way across the different projects. Many active crunchers are not only interested in their own stats but also in the team's total production. If in some projects the name is misspelled the member's stats are not added to the TeAm's stats but to the "misnamed" team's stats.

So: if you look at BOINCstats you see two teams: Anandtech and TeAm AnandTech. We think that those members who want to crunch for TeAm AnandTech in WCG should have that chance. TeAm AnandTech has many different projects (as it is seen here)while Anandtech only has two.
Those of us who crunch many different projects want to have all our crunching on one team - the TeAm AnandTech.

Of course, each and everyone chooses his or her own team affiliation. We appreciate all the crunching which is being done for the project. OTOH: stats are so fun - if they are correct ... and a pain if not.

I will likely crunch WCG and the new project a lot soon. Where I live in Northern California has a serious problem with mosquito's and West Nile virus. In the last few months, several people within 5 sq. miles of me have passed away, and the aerial spraying is just plain nasty. Granted, it may not have a quick return but it's close to home and the people organizing it are mostly local...
