+++ Team Anandtech DF Utilities Release +++

Hi Everybody,

Took the few hours necessary today to port the utilities to Win32 code. Sorry for the inconviences that people may have had. The good news is that they work quite nicely!

dfDetect
dfKeepAlive

Check out the readme's for how to use 'em. dfDetect is only for DF installed as a service. dfKeepAlive works for both (great for non-NT/2000/XP machines). An exe is also provided for running in hidden mode. They should exit out cleanly on shutdown.

You can install 'em wherever you like.

Have fun with 'em! 😎

Glad to see you like them! 🙂

BTW, you can also use dfDetect to keep DF running (it won't start it if a designated prog is running).

m0ti, have a few days till the 2100XP that will only run as a 1500 is supposed to be done, will try everything for the WIN98SE on it! THANK YOU!

hmm, I could also make dfDetect work for those not installed as a service. I'll rewrite dfRestart too from it's batch file format to an .exe like the others. It could also support the non-service client.
