So I had my first official experience as a teacher today. Not classroom, mind you, a tuba lesson. Man, was it great. It felt so rewarding to be able to communicate what I love doing to someone else who will hopefully enjoy it as well. My student (man, it feels great to say that) actually thanked me for helping her. What a great feeling!
