So I'm going to be doing this thing, and have no idea how to start. Since I'm too lazy to explain anything in my own words, here are some e-mails:
From a guy I'm doing this with:
"Ms. K has asked me to teach a class of teachers about using Flash for about
an hour in only one day. She wants me to have some assistants and she's
chosen Natalia already. I want someone whose also familiar with Flash to
help me. Would you want to? You get community service hours.
Eric"
And my teacher to that guy:
"Hi Eric,
I just talked to Natalia and she read me you e-mail. Here are the details:
You, Natalia and Tien are going to teach a group of teachers the basics of
Flash 5. The class is one hour long and will be in room 24 from1-2 on Wed.
July 18. Please come and join the group for lunch from 12-1 in the school
diner. We are having Rose Garden. I think you schould begin by showing the
teachers the two big Flash presentations that I have seen ( your assembly and
the History project). Then take them slowly stepp by step through how to
make a simple animation. If you want to make a handout just e-mail it to me
or bring it on Tuesday and I can run it off for you. Remember these teachers
are computer literate, but have never used Flash. A web site I saw today
that had some good tutorials was Qarbon.com (look in the library). It might
help you figure out what you want to teach.
If you need to talk to me you can call (510) xxx-xxxx. Or by e-mail. I'll
be at school Tuesday settting up. If you want to practice I can get you in
the room in the afternoon.
