Teacher said she is boycotting Proctor and Gamble because they support gays.

My mom told me a story from one of her fellow teachers about how the said teacher is boycotting P&G because of their "support" of gay people. My mom asked her why and she said because she heard it on american family radio that everyone should boycott them for the same reason. Well, here is the funny part, the said teacher just got back from Disney World and when asked if she was going to boycott them for their "Gay Days" and what not, she said no, that she was not going to boycott Disney. Also, if she was going to stop using computer because IBM owns so many EE patents and they do not have a problem with gays.

This "American Family Radio" seems to be a very good tool for controlling the minds of others........ i must look into it.

Sheeple. I remember when P&G was an evil Corporation used/owned by the Rev Moon. There are 13 Stars in it's logo, 13!!!!!!!!

Someone will always find a bizzarre reason to boycott Corps like P&G. It seems like a faorite passtime.

Mindless sheep everywhere. I wonder how many people have 'boycotted' Tommy Hilfiger, because an e-mail forward said he made racist comments against blacks, which been proven to be false.

as opposed to the sheep that buy and wear the clothing

tell her she should boycott because they promote gambling subliminally and to top it off they do business in china which is like supporting communists

Good News! More Groups Join Boycott of Procter & Gamble

Dear Fluorescenthat,
Several groups have joined the boycott of Procter & Gamble. The P&G boycott was begun because of their promotion of the homosexual agenda.

In addition to AFA, groups that are participating in the boycott include Focus on the Family (Dr. James Dobson), The Center for Reclaiming America (Dr. James Kennedy), American Values (Gary Bauer), Point Of View Radio, Council for National Policy Action Inc., Exodus International, Faith2Action, Vision America, Free Market Foundation, and Cornerstone Policy Research.

We will be announcing more groups joining the boycott in the near future.

For more information on the boycott, click here. http://www.pgboycott.com/

To join nearly 350,000 individuals who have already signed the on-line petition supporting the boycott, click here. In addition, many more thousands have signed the hard copy of the petition.

American Family Association is asking individuals to

1. Boycott three products of P&G ? Crest toothpaste, Tide detergent, and Pampers diapers. (Some are boycotting all P&G products, which we encourage. To print out a list of P&G products, click here.)

2. Print out a Boycott Procter & Gamble petition and distribute among Sunday school and church members and with friends. Click here. (pdf version) (MS Word Version)

3. Please register your support for the boycott at pgboycott.com.

4. Call Chairman A.G. Lafley at 513-983-1100 and politely let him know that you are participating in the boycott and will ask others to do the same.

Can you get me her name and what school she teaches at? I want to go protest outside her classroom on account of her being such a stupid ho. I'm pretty sure I can also get her students to boycott and stop attending her classes.

Maybe she doesn't want her money going to support causes she disagrees with. It is very simple. if Proctor and Gamble want to give money towards that cause then they can do it. They just won't be getting any of it from me. ALso 350,000 other people have joined the boycott so are you going to protest all of them too?

Schadenfroh -- Your mom's fellow teacher is both an anal moron and a hypocrite who should not be allowed anywhere near a school. Tell her what she can do if she can't take a joke. :|

I'm going out to buy an extra bottle of Noxema and some dish soap. 😎

As dirty as it makes me feel, I have to say that people are free to support (or not support) whatever company they want for whatever reasons they want. If people want to not buy products from a company that supports the "gay agenda", they are free to do so. I don't think many people would dispute that.

But that doesn't mean I have to like it or think those people are anything other than closeminded morons who have allowed themselves to be convinced that gay people represent some kind of threat to America. I don't care if you like or dislike gay people, this whole nonsense about how they will destroy our moral fiber (or whatever) is just silly. You are of course entitled to your beliefs, but that doesn't make them any less stupid.

Did you or any of the other, ahem, deep thinkers who plan on boycotting P&G make plans to boycott any other company? Is this part of a larger operation to boycott companies that do "bad things", and if so, is P&G at the top of the list?

I only ask because I have trouble seeing how, out of all the things companies do that are worth boycotting, supporting gay rights tops that list. In other words, the choices would seem to be that you boycott a ton of companies or, out of all the evil, bad things modern corporations do, you couldn't think of anything worse than supporting gay people.

Sort of, except that there is a difference between understanding actions people take and admitting their right to do so. In this case, I think people can buy or not buy from any company they want for any reason. It's their money, after all. But I truly don't understand how people think this the best thing they could be boycotting for. I can't imagine most of those people, especially the ones running the whole thing, are doing that for a ton of other companies, so it would seem to me that they consider supporting gay people a terrible thing.

Let me put it this way, lots of companies do things like dump toxic waste on developing countries, use kids working in really sh!tty conditions to make their products, and generally behave like a bunch of assholes. But the people boycotting P&G evidently feel that those things aren't as bad as supporting the gay agenda. THAT is the part I don't understand, even if I accept that it's their right to do that.

See, now you're getting the RW (extremist) agenda...sort of how jobs, the economy, and Iraq didn't matter but we gots'ta make sure gays can't get married and keep morals from slipping into the toilet, 'cause those are so much more important.

So exactly what do you think should happen to "American Family Radio"?

She has a right to do whatever she wants...including boycott companies for whatever reason. What, do you liberal fascists want to force everyone to conform to your ideals?

No one is suggesting forcing her to do anyrthing. In fact, the suggestion is that she has allowed others to Force her to do things.

Typical thought process of a liberal. Somebody cant possibly have decided to do something for themselves. Somebody else had to force them to do it.

Well, if you were paying attention, you'd realize that she didn't come up with the idea on her own, she was influenced to do so by American Family Radio.

My mom asked her why and she said because she heard it on american family radio that everyone should boycott them for the same reason.
Typical thought process of a conservative -- don't pay attention to the facts at hand.
