But at least 1 was serious, and nobody gave half a rat's ass.

"He asked for permission to take her to the prom. He said he was a family friend and that the parents had agreed that it would be OK," said Kirk Lewis, the Pasadena Independent School District superintendent.
you know, whats the problem there? he got permission from the parent and at least he asked his boss 1st.
now it goes on to say that he probably had sexual relations with the girl but thats another story.

Maybe it went something like this:
1. Guy asks principal for permission, says she's a family friend and he got permission from the parents.
2. Principal calls parents to confirm
3. Parents say they never gave any such permission
4. Investigation starts because guy lied to get permission to go to prom with student
I don't think what this guy did should be illegal (she was 17, over the age of consent in many states), but it certainly warrants being fired.

Well it was obvious that he was tapping it. I mean, you don't go to a waste of money event like prom unless you KNOW the girl is going to put out in the back of the limo.
