I don't have a need for IPv6 right now and my very old solid and in current use WRT54GL router doesn't support it unless I use an IPv6 broker which I read up on and is far too complicated for me to set up. I'm just going to buy myself a Asus RT N-66U and will be flashing with DD-WRT as I have that on my current router.
There's really very little reason to use IPv6 except to say that you are using it. If you want to just learn about it, I recommend looking at some online tutorials. These are a few examples I found with a quick search.
