It's a good deal, I bought one last week, It comes w/media and the Adaptec SW.

Good burner, works flawlessly. And BangSailors, shut-up. I suppose a 600mhz peeIII is the slowest computer anyone should use too huh?

I agree on this one--this isn't a bad price--no need to flame the newbie. If this was posted last week BEFORE the insane CompUSA deal on the Iomega, then I imagine people would have been a lot more encouraging.

Galip--don't let this sort of thing stop you from posting up whatever deals you find. Everything is a matter of timing, and this is just the wrong day to put up posts on any burner that isn't a 12x10x32 Plextor.

Congrats to those of you who managed to snag the Plextors--I've got mine on order via the website. . . we'll see if they ever show up. (fingers crossed).
