A Teac 16x10x40 CDRW is recognized by my MSI M7 Master Mobo at post but has ASCII characters after the model# and is reconized by WINME as a drive under device manager when it should be under the CDROM heading. With my ASUS A7V133 it is not recognized by the bios, but is recognized still under device manager as a drive and not under CDROM.Could a bad firmware flash cause this?
