Tea

What do you yankees and rebels think?

I for one, think Iced is as close as I can get to god on this planet.

Unsweetened.

If god is sweet, I have lived for naught.

I drink ~1.7L of unsweetened tea per day. Nowhere near any kind of god, but sweet tea can go to hell.

Love it.

I drink green and white teas (whole leaf, my fave being Jasmine) from Adagio, and get black tea (mostly Assam) regularly when relatives visit India. For quick, cheap tea at work I drink Salada (green tea bags).

Always without sugar, though I will add honey to black or green tea on some occasions in the winter or to make iced tea in the heat of the summer.
I'll add fresh mint to my tea sometimes, for a refreshing and stomach-settling drink.

I'm a caffeine connoisseur; I love to drink coffee and energy drinks, as well.

I don't usually drink tea, but when I do, I usually drink it warm and with 1/2 of a spoonful of sugar.

I like Tea. I prefer Black to green or white. I do not like any kind of sweetened Tea, all natural for me.

Its lipton brewed or sun tea for me, unsweetened as well.

Can't stand the taste of sweet tea, earl gray, green tea, flavored teas, tea with lemon, or any variation of the above. Plain unsweetened tea for me.

Always have a gallon and a half container in the fridge, slightly sweetened with stevia.

In the winter it lasts a week, when it's hot like now it's lucky to make it a day and a half.

I drink blue amp which has theanine, pulled from tea leaves. Prevents cancer, helps you sleep, relaxes.

Hot Earl Grey in the morning, every morning. Cold (not iced) mint tea throughout the rest of the day. Occasionally one of the delicious Republic of Tea flavors, like Ginger Peach or Blackberry Sage. Always plain, i.e. no cream, no sugar, no lemon. Favorite cold remedy: hot plain green tea with wasabi mixed into it - it clears up any congestion.

Asking an AH-MERI-KAN an opinion on tea is the same as asking them about beer; they don't know jack shit about either.

What passes for tea in the US of A is total shit. They even boil the fucking tea in GLASS pots for God's sake!

I drink English Breakfast tea each morning. Unsweetened with milk. Premium loose leaf stuff I buy at a specialty store. Teaopia. They have a few stores across Canada. You can order online too. Far better than the dust in a bag that the grocery store carries. Doesn't cost much more either.

If it's iced, slightly sweetened with lemon. I rarely drink iced. Herbal teas, usually lemon ginger or mint. Tetley has a mojito tea which is lime and mint. Tasty.

sun tea is awesome (black tea + water + sun + time, add ice to glass and pour!)
But it's only awesome if you don't ruin it with sweeteners or fruits.

I also like Green tea, I ocassionally drink loose leaf, but usually I just buy the teabags at World Market.

Ooh, and I like straight up hibiscus tea, nice and strong, super tart and tasty!

Still need to try Yerba as it's been recommended to me by several people on this board.
And I drink about 10x as much coffee as tea.

Earl Grey. Hot.
Oolong. Hot.
Jasmine. Hot.
English/Irish black tea + condense milk. Hot.
English/Irish black tea + lemon honey. Hot.

It's good to see that other people enjoy unsweetened tea. I really wish they would sell it at the local food mart.

I'm normally just a water drinker, but in the summer I buy crystal light in bulk. I mix the lemon and raspberry flavors together in a giant pitcher and that usually lasts me a week.

I brew my tea in cast iron, thank you. 🙂

I prefer black tea and I drink it "black" (so milk or sweeteners). I don't like herbal teas too much because while they smell nice, they usually don't have much flavor.

FYI - brewing that way can cause sickness. It doesn't get hot enough to kill any microbes that might exist on the teabag or in the tea or in the container you use. Add a day or so in mild warm sun and a bacteria/virus explosion is possible.
