It's a bet. 500 straight. I'm a man of my word, I'll take you for one as well so no 3rd party.

Quoted and done, I accept!

For the record, you are betting me $500 straight up that Christine O'Donnell will be elected Senator from Delaware in this November's election.

For forum decorum sake, let's take the rest of this to pm, save that the winner of this bet gets to brag one time here the day after the election. :)

We The People, of these United States are pissed off at the obama agenda. We have been exposed to a hard core radical marxist and have quickly seen what his ideology brings - massive unemployment, stagnation, the disdain for American exceptionalism and greatness. That fucker is going to be completely rendered useless come November 2 by The People. America is waking up, and she's waking up real quick. The big slumbering bear who's been poked into alertness, ready to pounce and defend what is rightfully his, the tax paying citizen, the working man trying to put food on the table for his family, they are WIDE AWAKE now as the very American way is threatened by the communist in charge.

You truly can smell the fear in leftists. They honestly believed they thought their radical ideas were what the people wanted, and now they're totally shocked at the outrage and strong motivation of The People. You can even feel the energy in the air when We The People gather and talk about what we MUST do come november. It's the feeling of victory over the enemy. Hell, even a lot of democrats in the house are now running from Obama's tax increase idea and motioning to extend all tax cuts. Talk about jumping from the sinking ship.

No democrat is running with Obama. His name, his arrogance and his entire agenda are toxic. 18 months of his shit have startled The People into action like no other. We see what you are obama, and we flatly, wholeheartedly reject it.

Yes spidey, Republicans will win big, because you wingnuts have succeeded in spreading FUD and revisionism on virtually every single issue, from history to economics to foreign policy.

Do these kinds thoughts hurt the inside of your skull when they bounce around unimpeded?

"Direction the country is heading"--- give me a break. That's nothing but spin. Obama and Democrats are doing pretty much the exact same things that McCain and Republicans would have done, because no one is stupid enough to actually do what the Tea Party wants.

He has a point, have you seem Democrats' campaign commercials?

Nope, but here I have seen the Republican ones here in California.

I'm not sure if I should laugh at them or be scared at how absurd they are.

They plow tons of money in to them and the best they can come up with is "evil sheep" and some wizard of oz themed one?

I'll give Meg Whitman credit. Her commercials, while annoying, (how many times can we call Jerry Brown a "FAILURE!" in 30 seconds) are at least sane.

I'm going to LMAO when the Republican folks who fall for the Teabag Party's lines find out that their candidates are no better or different than the rest of the pack...
The entire political machine in this country is broken...FUBAR, and controlled by the big money...they only let us peons THINK we are a part of it all...

"Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss."

They'll be shocked, just shocked when they discover that their beloved TEA Party candidates also serve the interests of the rich in our society and could give a shit less about the little people.

They'll be shocked when they learn that TEA Party free market policies will do nothing to improve the state of the U.S. economy other than to send more jobs overseas and to increase the number of H-1B and L-1 visas. I won't be at all surprised if the TEA Party candidates also support increasing legal immigration and granting amnesty for illegal immigration since businesses want even cheaper labor.

I just glanced at Christine O'Donnell's WWW site.

If it is to be believed, they set a fund raising goal of $500,000 post primary.

Literally overnight, as of this moment, they have raised $370,000 in private donations.

This is in Delaware, the smallest State in the Union. If this amount of funding were to occur in, let's say, NY or CA, it is the equivalent of $3.7 million.

The Republican Senate Campaign Committee, overcoming their sour grapes of last evening, has just pledged to support her financially. Mitt Romney, one of the few politicians currently with a real chance at the Republican nomination for President in 2012 and one of the few with any creds as a fantastically successful businessman, has just endorsed her.

O'Donnell is not a perfect candidate but she is riding the waves of a perfect storm.

Spidey07 can gamble with the Irish

Irish bookie: Palin, Romney best odds for GOP 2012 nod
Alaska Dispatch | Sep 15, 2010
According to the latest odds from Paddy Power, an online betting book based in Ireland, former Governors Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney are the favorites to win the Republican Party's 2012 presidential nomination. A bet on Palin will pay 4-1, and a bet on Romney will pay 11-4. Although the bookmaker still has President Obama a heavy, 8-11 favorite to win the 2012 presidential election, Palin and Romney aren't longshots, at 10-1 and 6-1 respectively. Palin has stayed coy so far about her own intentions in 2012, but Paddy Power will pay 5-1 to whomever bets that she will announce her presidential candidacy at the Iowa Republican Party's Ronald Reagan Dinner on Sept. 17.

On a related note, the bookmaker has given Bristol Palin 20-1 odds to outright win this season's "Dancing With The Stars."

Again nobody wants to comment on her multiple character issues and the allegations that she lived off campaign contributions made by her ex chief of staff?

please keep the e-thug betting to PMs so the adults can talk...

Whats her real platform? Whats she advocating other than outlawing strangers...stranger as in sitting on your hand stranger...

I have not seen this show but I saw a news interview with Bristol Palin commenting on how she was working in a dermatologist's office when she got the call to be a contestant and jumped at the chance.

Based on her mom's popularity, if this show's winners are determined by a call-in vote, she will win no matter how badly she dances.

A vote for Bristol Palin is a vote for Sarah Palin for President! Hehehe.

:awe:

BTW, in the video of her dance rehearsal Bristol does not look particularly graceful. Based on who she mentions as her competition, however, she is likely going to be the cutest contestant.

My guess is that it will be a toss up between Palin and "The Situation." If you do not know who "The Situation" is, good for you!

Yeah ok, only like 20% of the country thinks we are heading in the right direction

Right... And I'm telling you that's because of successful FUD spreading and revisionism.

I wish Obama had never run and McCain was president, because we'd have all the legislation we have now but without the public disapproval.

C'mon, the media is fully in the pocket of the Democrats.

They fully admit it and demonstrate it every day.

Are you saying that a few radio talk show hosts and Fox News' evening commentary shows are more powerful a force in informing the American population than the entirety of the NYT and ilk, the alphabet networks and MSLSD???

Right, so the number of Americans who think Obama is a Muslim is rising because of the NYT?
