And if he was betting with a real man that's all it would have taken.

Red my exact PM was something short and simple. "No 3rd party, a bet is a bet and I'm a man of my word. I take you for one as well"

And that's all it took. So neener-neener-neener-.

I'm happy to report that spidey was a stand-up man of his word, as I fully thought he would be, and has paid me in full, with timeliness and grace.

I admit that I find most of spidey's social and political stances disturbing, alarming and even downright crazy, not to mention repugnant, and yet I think it's important to remember that in real life people are complex amalgamations of many different sides.

I pegged spidey as a man of his word. Despite the worst of his social and political opinions, imho, I saw his decent side. I trusted him from the get-go to pay this bet. I'm happy to say I was right.

Here! Here! Spidey you're insane in the membrane but you are a stand up guy. Props to you for paying up.

And I'm even happier to report that the entire $500 will be going to the Socialist Vegetarian Muslim Terrorist Transgendered Alliance For Higher Taxes to fund the "spidey loves us" wing of their communal yurt.

lmao!!!

I thought he never took you up on the deal? Few hundered posts in nothing he seemed to let this disappear after going on tirade. Must have coordiated in PM or later. (I wanted action so I was paying attention:p)

Indeed Spidey much respect. You da man. I've always liked ya anyway despite what people say:p Next time I'd suggest at least going with odds rather than a straight bet on a 4:1...just good business:)

Thumbs up to Spidey for being a man of his word.

Also thumbs up to Spidey for being successful enough in life to gamble $500 of his own money, without government help, and not have any real financial impact.

I think I am down ~3K this NFL season already :(

Cheers Spidey.
