I dont drink tea for the benefits. I drink it for the caffiene and the taste, and I enjoy my tea with milk or creamer.

The only time I had milk in my tea was when I bought it that way in Dublin (I had no other choice).

Silly Europeans.

Regardless, I'm going to drink my fill of the Amazon Twinnings deal, with maybe a little PG on the side.

When I was in India, my "chai" (which means tea) was made with boiled milk instead of boiled water. It was quite tasty. Too bad it interferes with the compounds that improve health. Although this seems like a weak study to me:

The researchers compared the health effects of drinking boiled water and tea with and without milk on 16 healthy women. Using ultrasound, they measured the function of an artery in the forearm before and two hours after drinking tea.

For this to be taken seriously, they need to do this with a few hundred women AND men of various ethnicities.

i used to enjoy milk in my tea, but now i drink types that would not taste good with milk, so i just add a splash of lemon and a dollop of honey if anything.

Isn't this a very broad statement when the research was done a such a narrow group of participants? First, they didn't test this in men. Second, their study only had 16 participants, not even enough to assume a normal distribution of the data collected.
