TDK's NERO TO WORK WITH MY NEW PLEXTOR..HELP :(

I HAD A TDK DRIVE WHICH I SOLD HERE,AND BOUGHT A PLEXTOR 24X.
THE VER OF NEROI HAVE ON MY COMPUTER CAME WITH THE TDK,BUT NOW THAT MY PLEX IS INSTALL WHEN I GO TO CHOSE
A CDRW IT HAS A RED X ON THE RIGHT SIDE AND IT WILL NOT WORK WITH MY PLEXTOR.
WHAT CAN i DO TO GET IT TO WORK,I DONT LIKE EZ CREATOR..ANY IDEA'S

As far as I know you can't use NERO that is coded for one drive on another. I might be wrong though.

yea, that didn't work on mine either. because my brother got the tdk so i tried it on mine to see. well, that version of nero is for TDK drives only. you'll have to get another version from nero.com.
 
From the Nero website:
"You have an OEM version of Nero that works only with the brand of recorder it came with. However, you may update to the full version of Nero for the special price of US $19. "
$19 for Nero is a bargain.
