TDK VeloCD 24/10/40B Tray problem

Hey, I dunno how many of you guys out there own the TDK model I have, but almost everytime I press the Eject button, the tray would open, then close. Usually takes me two tries before the tray just opens and stays open. However, when I use a software to eject the drive, it's fine. I'm running WinXP. Anyone else have this problem??! It's a pain in the @$$!!!

BTW, what's the diff b/w the 24/10/40B and 24/10/40X? Which one is newer?

Maybe the button is out of alignment and is too sensitive or it spring back down... dunno ...???... 24x10x40B i believe is the one with BurnProof and is a Sanyo drive... the other one is made by LiteOn and has SmartBurn instead... someone correct me if i'm mistaken.
