Well, CMC aren't to the same level of quality as T-Ys, but I've not had any problems with mine - so far, anyways. The longevity of some of their discs is open to question though. Someone might want to invest in one of those squeezable stress toys though. They're just discs, and at that price, I'd stock up on a few even if they were CMCs. I don't think that I'd put wedding movies on them though.

I have 8X TDK's DVD-R that are 8X for sale if any1 wants. I used 5 of them so 45 TDK. I just got another pack from somewhere else and my burner works better with 4X. If you don't agree with the price, Email me and we can negotiate. I'll sell them cheap though.

cannot
i have bought 25 pk from target
different and same spindles
all say made in taiwan
but have found ricoh and cmc
some cmc burns and keeps well, but tdk cmc i gave to friends/beggars
not bad for $7.95 imo

your best bet is not to buy any media that are made in Taiwan. Only few exceptions, like the ricojpn and mcc, sometime they are made in Taiwan
