He's the deal. I am running a Epox 8KHA kt266 Mobo. I am using a GeForce 2 GTS 64 MB DDR and a Radeon 32 MB PCI card (XP says its a 7200), a 12/10/32a TDK CD Burner and a 16x Pioneer 105 slot loading DVD player. I am running a 7200 RPM 40 gig and a 5400 RPM 60 Gig, both Western Digital. I also am using a LAN card. After i installed the 32 MB Radeon PCI to run my 2nd monitor, i am getting errors when trying to burn CDs. (Power calibartion error in Nero). Do i need to pick up a new PS or is my TDK fried? If i do need a new PS, what brands should i use? (I am currently using an Enlight 300 W PS that came with my case). Thanks

Cut/paste straight from TDK's web site:

Question
Why am I getting a Power Calibration Error?

Answer
This is generally a hardware error caused by defective CD-R/RW media. 90% of the time it is caused by poor CD-R/RW media. Please try using another brand of media, TDK media or a TDK recommended brand of quality media.

A weak or failing power supply may also cause this type of error.

You may want to replace/upgrade the power supply in your PC.

You may also need to update the bus master driver through the motherboard's manufacturer website.

If these steps do not help and the error message still appears

You may need to have your recorder repaired.

This took me about 1 minute to find, BTW.

Edit: If you determine your PSU is fubar, Antec and Enermax are both favorites around here. I prefer Antec but that's just because I have 2 that have performed flawlessly.
