The title says it all for people who have Guitar Centers near them. The cool thing about this deal is that these are definitely Taiyo Yudens. I saw them this week at the store. $14.99 - 10MIR = $4.99

that deal's been around for a while, i just havent had the time to see whether they were TY or not so i didnt bother posting... do you know what speed they're rated at?

The ones I saw were 32X Taiyo Yudens. Hopefully they are all over. The flyer that came this week shows a picture of 32X non-TY's, like the ones I picked up from Staples.

According to CDR Media Code Identifier V1.63 they are indeed Taiyo Yudens. I guess I'm supposed to be happy about that. I notice that they use the Cyanine/Azo dye (according to CDRMCID) and my prior cheap CDRs use Phthalocyanine dye. I guess that is what is suppose to make them better??? Though a web search on the topic seems to produce conflicting opinions.
