TCPA and Longhorn is coming, time for linux ?

5 min? that damn reactivation thing took 30min for me, writing down numbers that are 30 digits long while on the phone and punching them inot the keypad is not my idea of simple or necessary for me to own the damn computer

I read the numbers out to the lady and she read back the code, which I punched in straight into my system.

5 minutes is all it took, and I've only had to do it once since I got Windows XP in October 2002.

Likewise, I've changed a lot of hardware around in my system, installed a lot of drivers etc and it's never triggered an activation request.
