TCP/IP LAN Strategy Games

My Linksys Router only handles TCP/IP and unfortunatley Red Alert 2 only plays with IPX on a LAN.

What the best strategy games for a TCP/IP LAN (Windows 2000)????

Seems that most all of the strategy games are geared for an IPX LAN.

So if I set up a BattleNet Server on one of my home machines I can use TCP/IP?? How does this work exactly?? As you can tell I haven't doene a lot of recent gaming.

Thanks for the replies.

Dude, you can use IPX/SPX on your LAN with that router. Since you're only using the switch part of the router (internal network) you'll be fine. I know, I play Racer using IPX/SPX on my LAN and use the Linksys router as a switch. 😉

Jack, you have made my day!

I was under the impression that it wouldn't hang with IPX at all.. Thanks man, I'll give'er a shot!
