TBred Rev2 Yield Problems?

They are reporting "from sources" that Rev2 Tbreds are yielding under 50%, hence the problem of getting chips out to suppliers. If you werent aware, online resellers that were to ship to customers early Oct have now delayed til late October, and Newegg has removed the 2400+ from its listing completely.

Not good news if its true, especially as I await the 2400+ to come back into stock so I can get one.

If yields are so bad...50% ouch!!!...Then I am convinced the high ocing will likely not be as common as someof the reviews made them seem and AMD probably actually hand picked high ocer cpu chips to get good reviews on that front...Eventhough the enthusiast market is small for them they have to know it is and has been a driving force to get amd's product to the masses of consumers. Word of mouth is about all amd does for advertisment...
