Heres the stepping on my chip:
AXDA1700DUT3C
JIUHB0311XPMW

I'm using a Shuttle SN41G2 and the highest I can reach is 11x155. My xp1600 could do higher then that on default volts. I know its not my ram since I could run it at 200mhz if i leave it async. Do I need to add more voltage?

This was such a dissapointing result :(

Heres my specs:
Shuttle SN41G2
2x256 Kingmax pc2700
80gb seagate
onboard vid

I also tried a stick of corsair xms and did no better.

Tried bumping the vcore up to 1.77 still cant even get it to boot at 170. Right now I can get it to windows at 160 with the vcore at 1.63. I was at least hoping for it to work at 166 at default vcore. Is that so much to ask

what were you getting with the 1600+ was it under the same specs?
you also have a dut3c, while most amazing 1700 ocs are on the dL
what are you other specs. are you using a minipc?

my 1600 got me 1750 with the exact same setup i'm using for the 1700. Even if its a dut3c it should still be able to do 166.

Lol... sounds like my old 1700+ TBredA...
hit 1700Mhz at 1.65V, then wouldn't budge, even at 1.9

I don't think thats a known overclocking motherboard.

Try it at 166mhz FSB, not sure if that board has a 1/5 divider or not. Your AGP/PCI is probally running out of spec.

No, there are some dud Tbred Bs. I've got a 2100+ that runs great stock at stock voltage, but won't make 1800MHz, even at 1.85V.

Problem fixed. Apparently theres issues with the stick of corsair. Got it running at 2ghz now. This is more like what I was expecting.

Good to hear :)

That shuttle must be so sweet! What vcore & FSB are you running at? was thinking about getting a SN41G2 with my XP1700+, but mines a crappy JIUCB that needs 1.9 volts to hit 2ghz :| What's the max vcore option in the bios?

Vcore is at 1.58, default is suppose to be 1.6 and my fsb 185. There is actually no way to change the vcore in the bios, I change it by doing the pin mod on the motherboard. Would like to see if I can go higher but I have no clue if its the ram or cpu holding me back.

Lucky you. :) Wish mine were that simple, but unfortunately, I've tested my system with an identical Tbred B 2100+ that hits 2266MHz rock stable. Other chip won't post over 1800MHz. :(
