Making the A should be cheaper than making the B. It's not because of less transistors, it's because of fewer layers.

I guess its really time for everyone to hop over to the Intel P4 Side, its really nice over here, 1ghz+ fsb, and HT.:) Or your could just stick with XP2500's.
