Hi guys,

I'm getting an XP2000+ tomorrow (or something around that.)

My question is, how can I tell, by looking at it, whether its a type A or B tbred? I asked the guy in the shop over the phone and he went "erm..... B" so basically I wanna make sure!

Cheers,
Unts.

Cheers, that's awesome.

Does that apply to other ones around that range, ie AXADA2100xxxxxx?

I believe that on the 2100 series, DUT3C's can be either A or B. This is why the 2100's are confusing.

See this.

Something like aida won't be of use because I want to know what core it is before I buy it.

Cheers anyway.

check the codes(applicable only from 1700-2100)
AX2100DMT3C-Palomino where M=1.75v
AGOIA(example stepping)

AXDA2100DLT3C-T-Bred A where L=1.5v
AIUGA(example stepping)

AXDA2100DUT3C-T-Bred B where U=1.6v
AIUGB(example stepping)

and also that the palomino's have the codes imprinted on the chip's die while the T-bred's codes are on a sticker on the chip
