Tbird Voltage Help

Original: 1000 MHz / 10.0x / 100 FSB
Currently: 1150 MHz / 11.5x / 100 FSB

I want to get it up to 1200 MHz, but when I do I get a hardware error going into windows. My voltage and VIO are both default and I'm wondering if raising them will allow me to reach 1200 MHz.

Please help!

Up the FSB a bit by small Increments. the voltage is dependant on which mobo you are using if it is Abit yes give a little juice, if its MSI thats debatable. my MSI does best at 1.75-1.775 , my abits used to like 1.85.

What is the default voltage though? All mine says is "Default" , I'd like to know how much im raising it if I goto 1.75

look at your PC health status in the bios while you have at default and should be around 1.79 thats with the tolerence.

Connect the L7 bridges to force it to default and POST at 1.85V. Then adjust down to 1.75V in BIOS (if you feel you need too). This helps on the MSI boards as they POST at default voltage regardless of where you set the voltage in BIOS.

I just checked that theory just in case I was wrong and My MSI K7Tpro2-A does change the voltage and My Bios DOES change the vcore value and I have not connected the L7.
