It appears that AMD is making a special fab of overclockable Tbirds see:

Award and AMI have agreed to produce a BIOS that identifies the original speed and to show the overclocked speed, real good, keep the remarking bastards on their toes.

Could this be the bios that ABIT is using ??

Have the BIOS report what the CPU SHOULD be, then what it is actually running at..

That is a great idea! If AMD sees that working in action, maybe all future T-Birds, Mustangs, and Durons can be produced with unlocked multipliers. I have my fingers crossed. An "unlocked" Mustang would be worth waiting for...drooooooool
