I have a 900Mhz Tbird and an asus a7v133a mobo.
Right now it has a pal6030 hs and is running at 7.5x148=1110Mhz 1.8 or 1.85v i forget hehe and will run around 51C max when the case temp is around 27C. thats when its unusually hot in the room, normaly max is 49C.
The cpu will start to boot at 1200 but crashes, and at 1150mhz will crash in ut after awhile.
I'm thinking of getting a water cooling kit. It'll be fun, make the case a little quieter, and hopefully oc better?
I can't do voltages in teh bios because usin a custom voltage won't post at all, but thats a different problem... anyways, i have to use the jumpers on the mobo to select the V. Is there any way to get 1.9 or 2v or something if i wanted? I doubt it tho... there are 4 rows and 4 pins in each row, that would give 81 possibiiltes, but it seems the last pin is only used if you want to use the bios in which case there are only 16 possibilites. The manual shows 16
Even without going more than 1.85, is there any chance 1.2ghz will be usable? default voltage would post, 1.85 starts to load windows...
anways think my cpu could oc more? I'd guess 1150 would be stable, it crashes under load, but is that it?
