hi guys...
ive been reading a lot about this pencil trick deal and i decided to try it myself.. I penciled the L1 bridges of my tbird 100 and loaded it up on my abit kt7 raid mboard... i set the user defined cpu speed to 100x10 to get 1000 mhz... and upped the voltage to 1.80... the thing boots up the system fine, but doesnt load up windows because of a windows protection fault... ntkern or osmething like that.... dropping the speed to 100 x 9.5 to get 950 mhz allows me to boot up to windows, but crashes short after everything is loaded....
any ideas??? I tried tweaking mboard settings from the mboard guide... mostly minor stuff... but no success... system running fine atm at 900... i dun think its a fan problem cuz my coolmaster is doing a pretty decent job...
