T'bird 1200's supplied unlocked !!!

I have just received 4 1200MHz T'birds with the L1's not cut by AMD, is this normal?, and does anyone know why 1.1's & 1.2's have a code designator that ends in MS3B and all other T'birds end in MT3B? ???

people on the forum have noted that their 1.2 GHz thunderbirds did come unlocked so I guess it's normal! can't help with the code variation though.
