Any advertising of anything for that store here, is forbidden.
People, with one post under russ1's belt, this looks a little more than coincidental
that he just happened to find AnandTech and make his very first post a link to a dealer
who has caused many members here problems. Go away!

not to be a wet blanket but this is the infamous ocz store that resulted in so many unhappy members here on the forums. I hear they're getting their act together- but always a note of caution- check resellerratings.com(though its credibility these days is a bit shoddy).

what does the 1100m mean? this is a really low price for that chip...
are they messing with slower processors to sell them at a higher mghz?

anyone have any thoughts on this?

it means it hardware modified. they even tell you straight out that it is an overclocked cpu so that's why to price is fairly low. With hardware modified you won't need to do multiplier adjustment.

lately i think they are getting their act together even tho they kinda messed up on my order a few months ago. The guy who runs the store hired either hired some really stupid people that has no idea what they are doing. probably their CS department has improved
